AOC launches new 26.5-inch gaming monitor with fourth-gen Tandem WOLED panel

AOC has just unveiled the Agon PRO AGP277QKDC gaming monitor, part of the Agon PRO series. Boasting a new 26.5-inch screen based on a fourth-generation Tandem WOLED panel, the resolution amounts to 2560×1440 and the refresh rate to 540Hz at QHD resolution or 720Hz at HD resolution.
Further screen specs include a GtG response of 0.03, a static contrast ratio of 1.5M:1, Adaptive-Sync support, and Nvidia G-Sync compatibility. True 10-bit color with 1.07 billion colors is advertised, along with 99.5% DCI-P3, 150.9% sRGB and 95.9% Adobe RGB coverage. Peak brightness is specified as 1,500 nits at 1.5% APL, with full-screen SDR brightness coming in at 335 nits.
On the connectivity front, the monitor offers one DisplayPort 2.1 input with UHBR20 bandwidth, two HDMI 2.1 ports, and a USB-C 3.2 port with DisplayPort Alt Mode that also handles upstream data and up to 65W power delivery. Additional features include a built-in USB hub, KVM switch, PiP/PbP support, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a pair of 5W speakers. The stand offers 150mm of height adjustment along with tilt, swivel and pivot functionality. Lastly, a VESA 100×100 mount is also available.
The monitor is slated for a September release at a reported price of €699 (approx. $800). Information on a US release is still pending.
