A leak from yesterday said Nvidia could unveil the GeForce RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti sometime in March. Before that, the RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070 are slated to drop on February 20. If you're in the market for one, you're better off waiting for at least a week because that's when AMD will show off the Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070.
The information comes from Benchlife, which says AMD will have a dedicated RDNA 4 presentation sometime in late February. One is warranted because the architecture got a minuscule amount of air time at AMD's otherwise impressive CES 2025 presentation. Here, we can expect to see how the Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 fare against its competitors.
Based on what we know so far, the RX 9070 XT should, on paper, serve as a cheaper RTX 4080 (or RTX 5080) alternative. Its non-XT counterpart will likely trade blows with the RTX 5070 Ti. As far as the rest of the lineup is concerned, they might get a separate launch because AMD didn't mention them in its CES 2025 brief. A late-February reveal paves the way for a proper launch in March, which is what an earlier report predicted.
