ACEPC WizBox AI detailed as AI mini-PC with Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor
Acepc, often referred to as ACEPC, has announced a new mini PC powered by a current-generation Intel processor. Dubbed the WizBox AI, the mini-PC relies on the Core Ultra 7 155H, a 28 W processor and a mid-tier member of the Meteor Lake-H series. For reference, the Core Ultra 7 155H combines 16 CPU cores with an 8-core Arc iGPU, as well as a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU), hence the reference to 'AI' in 'WizBox AI'.
According to ACEPC, the WizBox AI will support up to 96 GB of DDR5 RAM, for which there are two SO-DIMM slots. Likewise, the mini-PC integrates M.2 slots for replaceable SSDs and modems, with the former capable of operating at PCIe Gen 4 x4 speeds. Meanwhile, the WizBox AI will ship with a Wi-Fi 6 modem; unfortunately, ACEPC has not listed the modem's Bluetooth capabilities yet.
Moreover, the WizBox AI has a pair of HDMI 2.0 ports that can handle 4K and 60 Hz simultaneously, as well as a single USB Type C port that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode. On top of that, the WizBox AI finds itself with four USB 3.0 Type-A ports, a 3.5 mm jack and a Gigabit Ethernet port. Currently, ACEPC states that it will reveal full specifications and pricing tomorrow, with pre-orders commencing exactly a month later.
