A new free DLC has been announced for Assassin's Creed Mirage before the end of the year

While all eyes are turned towards the continuity of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, a surprise took place on the side of an old title. Indeed, a free DLC will be released on Assassin’s Creed Mirage before the end of the year, and new features regarding its gameplay are to be expected. 

Therefore, it should be noted that this game was quite poorly received during its release two years ago, and many fans were disappointed with the features offered, but also with the story. As a result, Ubisoft was in a rather fragile economic situation.

But if this opus did not conquer the hearts of fans, it is not dead for all that. Indeed, rumors had been circulating on social networks for months regarding an agreement between Ubisoft and the Public Investment Fund. And if no official announcement has been made on this subject, the arrival of this DLC seems to confirm this agreement. 

Therefore, this expansion will include a new main quest and several secondary missions, as is the case in the base game. However, the story will take place in the city of AlUla in the 9th century, and you will embody Basim. 

Other new features are to be reported, according to Ubisoft, as gameplay improvements have been announced. Note that they will be present in the base game as well as in this DLC. Nevertheless, if this seems promising and could allow players to reconcile themselves with this game, no other information has been revealed. 

Indeed, this DLC should be released before the end of this year, but no release date has been announced. Thus, the mystery remains entire on this subject, but also on the gameplay improvements mentioned by the French studio. And we will have to wait for further information to discover the details.
