8BitDo Ultimate 2 Wireless Controller Honkai Star Rail - Evernight is now available for $69.99

After being available to pre-order since its launch in September, 8BitDo has announced that the Ultimate 2 Wireless Honkai: Star Rail - Evernight version is now available to purchase. Initially scheduled to be released on October 16, the controller appears to have faced a one-week delay.

The controller is one of a handful of special edition controllers 8BitDo has released this year, joining the likes of the 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Wuchang: Fallen Feathers Edition.

The 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Wireless Controller (Honkai: Star Rail - Evernight) has the same features as the standard 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Wireless Controller. However, it not only sports a custom finish inspired by Honkai: Star Rail, it also comes with a handful of accessories.

Priced at $69.99 and available to purchase on Amazon and on the official 8BitDo eShop, the special edition controller comes with a travel case, a glitter coaster, stickers, and four joystick caps. It also includes a redemption card for in-game items. It ships with a charging dock, a 2.4GHz adapter, and a USB cable in the box.

The Honkai: Star Rail Evernight edition 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Wireless Controller has TMR joysticks with RGB lighting, a tactile D-pad, Hall Effect joysticks with a switch that lets users alternate between linear and tactile, two pro-level back buttons, and additional R4 and L4 bumper buttons. The controller also features 6-axis motion control, a turbo function, and vibration. It is compatible with the 8BitDo Ultimate Software V2.

Like the standard version, it features 8BitDo's proprietary 8Speed wireless technology, said to allow for a stable 2.4GHz connection with latency as low as 1ms. It also has a polling rate of 1000Hz when used in either 2.4GHz or wired mode. The 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Wireless Controller (Honkai: Star Rail - Evernight) is compatible with Windows 10 and later, Android 13 and later, SteamOS 3.7.13 and later, and Apple's operating systems (version 26 and later).
