GameSir G7 SE Xbox wired controller now available in Jet Black with a launch discount

The GameSir G7 series of Xbox controllers currently consists of four models. There's the GameSir G7 Pro Tri Mode controller, which we reviewed. There's also the GameSir G7 Pro Wireless Controller that is available in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers and Zenless Zone Zero editions. At the bottom of the list are the GameSir G7 HE and the GameSir G7 SE Xbox Wired Controllers. The latter was originally available in four colors, but has now been launched in a new color option.

First announced back in 2023, the GameSir G7 is available in White, Blue, Plum Rose, and Vibrant Orange (available on Amazon for $40.49). Now, the controller has arrived in a new Jet Black colorway. This version of the controller is exclusive to Walmart, where it is available to purchase for $39.99. This makes it cheaper than the other colors, which cost $44.99 on GameSir's website.

The GameSir G7 SE Jet Black Edition has an all-black paint job, save for the white Xbox button. However, like the other colors, buyers can purchase a magnetic faceplate to add a bit of color to the controller. The faceplate costs $9.99 and is available in eight colors, including Blue, Red, Transparent Green, and Transparent Purple.

The GameSir G7 SE is a wired-only controller compatible with the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10/11 PCs. It has Hall Effect thumbsticks with anti-drift rings, Hall Effect triggers, membrane ABXY face buttons, and remappable back buttons with a switch to turn them off. The controller also has an audio jack, a microphone mute button, and four rumble motors.  The GameSir G7 SE connects via USB-C, and GameSir ships it with a 3m-long USB-C cable.
