70mai launches two new 4K dash cams with built-in screens, ADAS, and WiFi 6

70mai has released its latest A900 series dash cams in the global market. Speaking more precisely, the company has introduced two dash cams under the A900 series, the A900 and the A900 Ultra. Both dual-channel dash cams share a very similar set of specifications, albeit with a few tweaks. For ex. The vanilla model ships with dual GC8613 sensors, while the Ultra model is equipped with dual Sony IMX678 sensors based on Sony’s Starvis 2 sensor tech. These are the same sensors found on the Viofo A229 Pro and 70mai’s flagship 4K T800 dash cam, which we have reviewed recently. You can read our in-depth review here. 

Both models are rated to get a resolution of up to 4k/30 fps, and according to the company, both gadgets can capture crucial details like license plates and road signs even in low-light conditions. 70mai packs its in-hour night vision system into the A900 and the A900 Ultra dash cams, which are further said to offer better nighttime clarity while reducing noise and improving glare control. Plus, both models support HDR recording and come with 70mai Lumi Vision technology. 

Furthermore, the A900 series has a built-in super-sensing ADAS and GPS support. Other features include smart parking guardian mode 2.0, AI motion detection, loop recording, time-lapse recording, 24-hour parking surveillance, buffered emergency recording (3 minutes 10 seconds pre-collision and 30 seconds post-impact), and WiFi 6 5 GHz connectivity for high transfers up to 45 MB/s. As for the screen, the A900 features a 3.18-inch display, while the A900 Ultra has a slightly smaller 3-inch preview screen. Alternatively, you can also preview and download the footage directly via the 70mai companion app. 

The 70mai A900 Ultra is priced at $239, and buyers can now pre-order the dash cam directly on 70mai’s official website. It will start shipping on 1st November. On the other hand, the A900 is priced at $199 and is now available for purchase via Amazon.
