As mentioned earlier, Redmi Note 9s is available for P10,490 for the 4GB/64GB, with the 6GB/128GB for P11,990. Its competitor is Realme 6 which boasts 90Hz screen and 64MP cameras. Given Realme is already offering trendy features, one can easily overlook Xiaomi’s offering. But from what I’ve noticed, it’s a reliable and long-lasting phone. Redmi Note 9s ticks all the boxes and is an easy purchase for those wanting to do more. And if you’re looking to game with this phone, just make sure to purchase the top model.

The global version of Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S proved to be a very stylish smartphone that received good performance, a camera, and battery life. But for many users, for example, the European countries, the smartphone will not be very relevant, since Redmi Note 9S did not receive an NFC module. But, if you are not so demanding on the contactless payment of your purchases, then the global version of Redmi Note 9S will be the perfect device.

The Redmi Note 9S is certainly a hardy competitor in a mid-range segment that’s staying competitive despite the current circumstances. With a starting price of PHP10,490, you’re getting an attractive and tough design, a big high-resolution display, great cameras, smooth performance, and a huge battery. All those things at such a relatively low price is always a steal, and we expect no less from Xiaomi. If you’ve put together a maximum budget of PHP12k, then the Redmi Note 9S is definitely one to get.

A large display and battery along with a new processor vie with modest camera performance and middling storage. If you're on a tight budget, it's worth a look but if you can spare the extra RM100, get the higher specced version.

After using the Redmi Note 9S for two weeks, I can conclude that this will be a fantastic device for consumers who are looking for mid-tier phones that prioritises gaming performance over other aspects of their phones. With the Snapdragon 720G chipset and the 5,020mAh battery, these are great mid-range features to power through your long gaming sessions with the smooth gameplay experience. Even if you are not into gaming, the big battery will last you more than a day with ease.

Redmi Note 9S Smartphone might be grabbed by the equally excellent Realme 6, but it is still one of the best cheap phones we have ever seen. This is a great phone for less than £ 200. A true all-round phone with good performance, a camera, and amazing battery life.

The Redmi Note 9S certainly has a lot of things going for it, but its main appeal here is the price—in the Philippines, the phone will be sold at just Php 10,490 for the base 4GB/64GB version, which is incredibly affordable as far as mid-range devices go.

You can't argue with the value offered by Redmi Note 9S. Xiaomi's top budget phone is a fine example of how to produce cheaper phones without cutting corners. Design, performance, photography, all good - and in battery life it excels, with the longest time we've recorded in synthetic benchmarks. A few items remain on our wishlist for the Redmi line, but Note 9S will not fail to impress all but the most demanding users.

But the Redmi Note 9S excels in everything it promises it will, and while it cannot show us the smoothest of MIUIs, it surely impresses with HDR10 skills, a meaningful macro camera, and battery autonomy. These are more than enough by our books and the Redmi Note 9S a phone we can easily recommend.

With the Redmi Note 9S, Xiaomi isn’t trying something as bold as reinventing the wheel. What the brand is trying to do, though, is redefined the whole “bang for your buck” concept for smartphones. The phone’s build is solid, as is its main camera system. On top of that, it runs on a new Qualcomm chipset, and its 5020mAh battery has – as my colleague would put it – legs for days and an endurance fit to run a marathon.

The new Redmi Note 9S is a beautiful mid-range smartphone. It’s classy and does not have any tacky lightning bolt design on it. It’s a sleek device with a unique color – remember, our Interstellar Grey looked bluish – and it felt great on my hands.

For RM799, the Redmi Note 9S does offer excellent value for your money. For the same price as the Redmi Note 8 was launched, you get faster charging, a much bigger battery, a bigger screen, and a much more powerful chipset along with all that. It’s an excellent buy for anyone looking for a solid mid-range device, and there’s enough performance under the hood for you to scratch your gaming itch, and enough battery life to make sure that you don’t have to run to the charger half way though a COD Mobile match.

The Redmi Note 9S is an almost complete package – the only department it scores poorly is in lowlight photography; perhaps this is something that could be fixed with a software update since the sensor is capable of much more. Despite that, the cameras still perform well in well-lit areas.
