The Vivo Z1 Pro has been released for sale in the Chinese and Indian markets. It is a mid-range device with the relatively new Snapdragon 712 processor. The Z1 Pro also offers a 5000mAh battery, a punch-hole display, and 4GB of RAM for INR 14990 (~ US$217) - on the other hand, it has some compromises too.

Vivo has reportedly launched the Z1 Pro in a Chinese event at the start of July 2019. This phone will apparently be available in this market, as well as in India. In the latter country, the new Z1 Pro will face stiff competition from other mid-range devices from OEMs such as Redmi and Realme, not to mention Vivo itself.

However, with its Snapdragon 712 SoC and 5000mAh battery, this device may be well-equipped to carve out some market share for itself. It also has an up-to-the-minute punch-hole 6.53-inch FHD+ display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. On the other hand, this feature is contrasted with a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, which is mounted in a polycarbonate panel (although it has "3D curved design" to elicit gradient effects in some of its colorways); in addition, the display is LCD rather than OLED.

Then again, the selfie camera found in this screen is 32MP, and the Z1 Pro also has triple rear cameras. The primary module here is a 1/1.78 Sony IMX499 16MP sensor, accompanied by 120-degree 8MP and 2MP depth-sensing lenses. Vivo also claims that the Android 9.0-based version of FunTouch OS 9 found in this device supports "4D" vibration patterns for gaming and a blue light filter.

The Z1 Pro has 4/6GB RAM SKUs with 64GB of internal storage, or an addition 6GB/128GB variant. They will cost INR 14990 (or ~US$217), 16990 (about $246) and 17,990 (about $261) respectively. It will go on sale on Vivo India's own site, or on Flipkart, from July 11, 2019.
