The Recon 70 headset already exists for the Nintendo Switch; now, Turtle Beach has released variants of the same that are compatible with the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The headphones have faux-leather cups over 40mm drivers, complemented by the OEM's flip-up mic.

Turtle Beach originally made its Recon 70 gaming headset for the Nintendo Switch. Now, the company has developed versions designed for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4/PlayStation 4 Pro. These new SKUs are finished in black or white with blue or green accents, whereas the originals had red trims.

The Recon 70 is an entry-level headset; however, Turtle Beach asserts that their 40mm drivers deliver "amazing game sound". These components are covered in a leatherette material for comfort while wearing them. The headset also exhibits the brand's "powerful" mic that flips upward at need.

Turtle Beach claims that the Recon 70 is lightweight, and thus more comfortable. Their latest variants have been developed for up-to-date Microsoft or Sony consoles. However, they should also be compatible with PC or the Switch, as they incorporate 3.5mm jacks. Therefore, if you like your mobile gaming, it may be better to look elsewhere for now.
