The OnePlus Watch's latest update boosts its Spotify support and adds new watchfaces
OnePlus has released a new software update for its first-gen Watch. This new firmware adds Spotify playlist syncing to the wearable for the first time, as well as a real-time navigation display. The OEM has also prepared some new watchfaces for the device.
OnePlus has started to push a new update for its inaugural smartwatch. It has a new "Spotify music mode", which enables the user to transfer an entire playlist made on the app to the wearable. The OEM has also included its latest watch-faces (of which there are 4) in the new firmware.
The new version, called W301GB_B_65_0654, or more simply B.65 update - also allows the Watch to show navigation data in real time, which the user can monitor from the wrist. OnePlus also notes that the new update can sync on-phone alarms or reminders to the wearable.
The new B.65 OTA is also rated to optimize the Watch's sleep-tracking algorithm. It is also the first update to add vibration intensity adjustments to the device. A user can check for the update via the OnePlus Health paired device app, and push it to the smartwatch when it becomes available.

I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they led to some experience in the biotech area, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, environment and lives in general. This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
