The Samsung QN100B Neo QLED TV offers 5,000 nits of brightness, double what most conventional TVs can achieve. Equipped with a 98-inch, 14-bit and mini LED panel, the Samsung QN100B Neo QLED TV also has a 120 W speaker system, a 4K native resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate.

Samsung has started selling the QN100B Neo QLED TV, just over a month after showcasing the flagship device at IFA 2022 in Berlin. Despite its name, the QN100B Neo QLED TV does not measure 100-inches across. Instead, Samsung has built the device around a 98-inch panel. Likewise, the QN95B is only a 65-inch TV.

The QN100B Neo QLED TV is more than just a larger QN95B, though. According to Samsung, the TV relies on mini LED backlights, which should help deliver up to 5,000 nits of peak brightness. In comparison, the QN95B only manages 2,000 nits for HDR content. As What Hi-Fi notes, the QN100B Neo QLED TV gets about as bright as outdoor commercial displays. Also, Samsung claims that the QN100B is its thinnest QLED TV yet at approximately 20 mm.

Separately, Samsung states that the QN100B Neo QLED TV has a 14-bit colour panel, 16,384 brightness steps, a Neo Quantum Processor Plus chipset, as well as modern features like HDR10, HLG, Object Sound Tracking Plus and Q-Symphony. Better still, Samsung has equipped the QN100B Neo QLED TV with a 6.4.4 (14 channel) Dolby Atmos sound system that the company claims outputs at up to 120 W.

Unsurprisingly, the TV outputs at 4K and 120 Hz, too. Currently, Samsung has only started selling the QN100B Neo QLED TV in South Korea, where it retails for KRW 45,000,000 (~US$34,000). However, the company has listed the TV on its US website, albeit without any pricing at the time of writing.
