AOC has unveiled the 25G3ZM/BK, a new gaming monitor. Sold as the AOC GAMING 25G3ZM/BK, the monitor measures 24.5-inches across and utilises a VA panel that operates at 1,920 x 1,080 pixels in a 16:9 aspect ratio. According to AOC, the monitor come with an antiglare panel treatment too, as well as WLED backlights and 178/178 viewing angles (CR10). Additionally, the AOC GAMING 25G3ZM/BK should deliver up to 300 nits of peak brightness and a 3,000:1 static contrast ratio.
Moreover, AOC claims that the monitor delivers 0.5 ms MPRT and 1 ms GtG response times while operating at between 48-240 Hz via its single DisplayPort 1.2 or twin HDMI 2.0 ports. Furthermore, the monitor ships with AMD FreeSync Premium Technology to address image tearing, which kicks in at 120 Hz. Similarly, the monitor supports customisable game modes to maximise image reproduction when playing FPS, racing or RTS titles, among others. Incidentally, AOC boasts that the AOC GAMING 25G3ZM/BK offers 92% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB colour space coverages, respectively.
Separately, AOC has bundled a 4-legged stand that supports 130 mm height, pivot (90° portrait), swivel and tilt adjustments, plus has a cable management opening to minimise clutter. Alternatively, the AOC GAMING 25G3ZM/BK has a 100 x 100 mm VESA mount should you prefer a third-party stand. The AOC GAMING 25G3ZM/BK will be available later this month for £189.99.
