Samsung is still a few days away from officially unveiling from its next foldables. Scheduled for July 9, the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 are set to arrive in the wake of competitors like the Vivo X Fold5, Honor Magic V5 and the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2, among others. In the meantime, Evan Blass has shared fresh renders of both devices with a focus on the pair's comparative thinness.
As it stands, the Galaxy Z Fold7 is set to be significantly thinner its predecessor (curr. $999 - refurbished on Amazon), which Blass' new leak underlines. Barely thicker than its volume button or capacitive fingerprint scanner, the Galaxy Z Fold7 is expected to come in at close to 4 mm on each side. Blass' new leak emphasises that this year's Galaxy Z Fold will miss out on Under Display Camera (UDC) technology just like last year's Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition.
The exact dimensions of this year's Galaxy Z Flip remain unknown at this stage. With that being said, the Galaxy Z Flip is noticeably thinner than the current Galaxy Z Flip6. However, the Galaxy Z Flip7 is unlikely to be as thin as its Galaxy Z Fold counterpart. The clamshell will look more modern than the Galaxy Z Flip FE though, whose Eurozone pricing has now leaked online too.
