Samsung has now confirmed the date of its next Galaxy Unpacked event, during which it is expected to unveil a whole host of devices including the Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Fold7. While Samsung will not officially unveil the pair until July 9, LambdaTek has jumped the gun by including both devices online across dozens of listings.
As the screenshots below show, the retailer does not refer to either by their retail names. Instead, it lists the pair as Samsung 'B7' and 'Q7'. Internal codenames, these appear next to the model numbers SM-F766 and SM-F966, respectively, which have been previously linked to the retail names Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Fold7.
Reiterating prior leaks, LambdaTek adds that Samsung intends to sell the Galaxy Z Flip7 in Blue Shadow, Coral Red and Jet Black finishes. Meanwhile, the retailer suggests that Samsung will swap Coral Red for Silver Shadow in the case of the Galaxy Z Fold7 while maintaining Blue Shadow and Jet Black across both models. A subsequent finding by Android Authority suggests Samsung will offer 'Green Mint' as an Online Exclusive colour for both devices when purchasing directly.
On top of that, LambdaTek has posted prices for the Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Fold7 in Euros and Pound sterling, excluding VAT. Ultimately, the prices shown below will not reflect Samsung's MSRP. With that being said, the pair are within a few Pounds and Euros of the prices that LambdaTek has set for their predecessors. Consequently, it seems that Samsung will be sticking with last year's launch pricing for the Galaxy Z Flip6 and Galaxy Z Fold6 (curr. $939 - refurbished on Amazon) in some markets at least. For reference, these prices excluding VAT are as follows:
- Galaxy Z Flip7
- 256 GB - £911.74 (~$1,240)
- 512 GB - £998.15 (~$1,358)
- Galaxy Z Fold7
- 256 GB - £1,559.85 (~$2,120)
- 512 GB - £1,646.26 (~$2,239)
- 1 TB - £1,819.09 (~$2,474)
