Major changes to the lineup are expected in 2026, according to earlier Galaxy S26 leaks. Some of these changes have already been in circulation for several days now, first in the form of dummy models based on CAD models. Shortly afterwards, specific dimensions were leaked and further dummies were spotted, all of which show one thing: While the compact Galaxy S26 flagship, expected to be called Galaxy S26 Pro in the future, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra are likely to look quite similar to their predecessors, with the exception of the revived camera bump, the successor to the Galaxy S25 Edge is completely different.
Whether Samsung was inspired by the expected iPhone 17 Pro design or by Xiaomi's Poco phones remains to be seen. In any case, the successor to the Galaxy S25+, potentially called the Galaxy S26 Air, will not quite fit in with the existing Galaxy design language. It may also be an attempt to try something new, or rather to follow Apple's example. According to a leak, the Galaxy S26 Edge will be slightly thinner than its predecessor at 5.5 mm compared to 5.8 mm. The Galaxy S26 Pro will be even thinner, from 7.2 mm to 6.7 mm, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra will slim down from 8.2 mm to 7.8 mm.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra front design
Meanwhile, Ice Universe has revealed what we can expect the front of the Galaxy S26 Ultra to look like based on leaked CAD models. Compared to the Galaxy S25 Ultra, the most striking feature is the less angular design of the display corners, although this is relative. Here, for example, you can compare the front design of the Galaxy S26 Ultra with the even more rounded look of the expected Xiaomi 16 design.
Galaxy S26 Edge design variants
High-resolution render images of the Galaxy S26 Edge visualize the most likely design of Samsung's thinnest flagship model. However, as these are based on CAD models, it is currently unclear which color options Samsung will ultimately choose. A dual-tone design, for example, is not out of the question, which Ice Universe visualizes in an X-post (see below). These questions will ultimately be answered by official render images or real images of a Galaxy S26 Edge.
