Razer has released a way to breathe new life into your existing gaming or office chair with its new Head Cushion Chroma. For those in any way familiar with the brand, this is exactly what you might expect from the name: a headrest with a logo that lights up thanks to RGB LEDs. This new source of illuminated comfort also lists memory foam among its specs.

There seems to be no aspect of gaming life onto which Razer cannot find a way to slap its branding at this point. The company has already gotten into gaming chairs; now, it has taken this line one step forward with optional accessories for the same. Furthermore, because this is of course Razer we're talking about, it is also RGB.

The Head Cushion Chroma is a powered device thanks to its own in-built 150mm cable with a USB type-A port at one end, to which, as the brand suggests, a portable charger could be connected in order to keep its lighting effects on. These can be set or synced using either the mobile Razer Chroma app, or the Synapse app on PC, via the headrest's integrated Bluetooth.

As for its non-tech functions, Razer asserts that it will keep the user comfortable thanks to its memory foam internals and "ergonomic" design. It can be installed onto a conventional office or gaming chair using its buckle-equipped dual straps.

Accordingly, this new headrest, only available through Razer's website, might be a way to upgrade furniture to more of an Iskur look at a fraction of the price. Those gaming chairs might cost about US$500 each, whereas the Head Cushion Chroma is now priced at US$119.99.
