After IKEA's new product line for gamers has generated a lot of interest during the trial period in two Asian markets, the Swedish furniture giant is now preparing to launch its gaming furniture globally next month with overall 30 products in six product lines.

The Swedish furniture company IKEA has issued a press release in which it is reiterating the plans to launch its gaming focused ASUS ROG furniture globally next month. Back in February we published an article about the official reveal of IKEA's gaming desks and chairs, which in part have been designed in collaboration with the well-known Republic of Gamers division of the Taiwanese computer maker ASUS, which currently holds the top position on our list of the best gaming laptops with the ASUS ROG Zephyrus S17 (from US$2,199 on Amazon).

After the furniture for gamers has apparently garnered quite a lot of interest in the Chinese and Japanese market, where the products have already been available for a few months, IKEA will now launch its gaming product line globally starting on October 1. Interested gamers in the U.S. for example should start seeing these items appear at their IKEA locations very soon, as IKEA will offer 30 gaming products in six lines of furniture and accessories under the names UPPSPEL, LÅNESPELARE, MATCHSPEL, GRUPPSPEL, UTESPELARE, HUVUDSPELARE.

In addition to the usual tables, gaming desks and gaming chairs, IKEA will also offer accessories like neck pillows and ring lights. All of these gaming products feature a flashier and bolder design than the furniture that IKEA is usually known for. The local pricing of IKEA's gaming furniture has not been revealed in all markets, but we expect them to be priced rather reasonably in most countries.
