Another feature has been spotted in the latest Philips Hue app update. Version 5.33 was rolled out to iOS and Android users earlier this month, with the change log noting a new customization option for the Scattered gradient lighting mode for various smart lighting products.
Now, users have uncovered an upcoming feature which has not been announced by Philips Hue. According to Hueblog, there is a new automation for Hue Secure products, like the Secure Wired camera (curr. $149.99 at Amazon). At the bottom of the list of Automations, an option for "Arming schedule - Automate your Secure system to arm and disarm at specific times" has been added. You can find this list under the '+' icon on the app's Automations page.
While this option is listed, it appears that the function is currently disabled. When it becomes available, the tool is expected to sync with the selected time zone for the connected Hue Bridge. It is thought that this new automation for Philips Hue Secure devices will launch with the next app update, version 5.34. However, it is unclear when this will be released.
