Ecovacs unveils 2025 Goat robot lawn mower range with new A and O families
Ecovacs has unveiled five new robot lawn mowers at CES 2025. The models fall under the 2025 Goat range, with new A and O product families. These are the Goat A3000 LiDAR, the Goat A1600 RTK, the Goat O1200 RTK, the Goat O800 RTK and the Goat O500 Panorama. The company claims that it offers a unique blend of navigation technologies, including satellite RTK positioning, LiDAR and cameras across the various models.
The Goat A3000 LiDAR is the flagship model from the A family and the 2025 line-up, tackling lawns up to 6,000 m² (~1.5 acres). The mower uses two LiDAR sensors and an AI camera to map your garden and avoid obstacles. On top of this, the A3000 has a dual-plate cutting system, like the one seen on the Mammotion Luba 2 AWD (5000H model curr. $2,549 at Amazon). The Goat A1600 RTK shares many similarities with the A3000 LiDAR, including the pair of cutting plates. However, as its name suggests, this robot uses RTK, 3D ToF and cameras for navigation. As such, it is recommended for smaller gardens, no more than 2,500 m² (~0.6 acres) in size.
The Goat O family is designed for smaller lawns, with the ability to move along a 0.7 m (~2.3 ft) wide path. The O1200 and O800 both use RTK with 3d-ToF sensors and cameras to navigate lawns up to 1,500 m² (~0.4 acres) and 800 m² (~0.2 acres), respectively. Meanwhile, the O500 relies on visual navigation and is suited to an area of around 500 m² (~0.1 acres). Other features of these robot mowers include TruEdge mowing adjustable cutting height.
It is unclear how much the Ecovacs Goat A3000 LiDAR, Goat A1600 RTK, Goat O1200 RTK, Goat O800 RTK and Goat O500 Panorama will cost. They are due to launch on February 10th in countries including Germany.
