Panasonic MX700E new 4K LCD Google TV Series revealed
Panasonic has unveiled a new range of 4K LCD Google TVs, the MX700E series, for European countries such as Germany. The new model will be available in 43-in, 50-in, 55-in and 65-in sizes, due to launch this September. The gadgets use the Panasonic 4K Color Engine to optimize the picture, with upscaling technology for lower-quality files.
Other features included on the Panasonic MX700E TV are FILMMAKER MODE, pre-set Sports and Movie modes, and support for Dolby Vision and HDR10. While the company claims its new model has high contrast and brightness, details such as the maximum screen brightness and refresh rate have yet to be provided. Built-in Google TV allows you to stream content from your favourite apps and cast video from a mobile device via Google Chromecast. You can also use Google Assistant to find films and control the TV or other linked smart home devices with voice commands.
The TV has a Game Mode, reducing input lag and latency, ALLM, VRR and an HDMI 2.1 port for connecting your console. The company suggests the model will have built-in speakers, but the exact setup is unknown. Plus, you can access Twitch via Google Play. The Panasonic MX700E will launch in the EU this September, with the entry-level TX-43MX700E starting from €599 (~US$653). It is unclear whether the model will also be available in North America.
