OnePlus has launched the 10R in India, making it the country's first phone with this brand's new top-end 150W charging tech, albeit in just one "Endurance Edition" variant. It is thus the most expensive 10R variant out there now, although it also comes in an alternative 80W form that starts at around US$500.

OnePlus has launched a successor to the 9R in India today (April 28, 2022). This new addition to the flagship-alternative series is the global version of the Ace, which means it runs OxygenOS 12.1, an Android skin currently rated to upgrade 3 times over and get 4 years of security patch updates.

According, the 10R gets a 50MP main camera with OIS, an OLED display and a Dimensity 8100-MAX SoC to drive it. However, it does have one thing the Ace does not: different SuperVOOC variants.

OnePlus' (and OPPO's) charging standard now goes all the way to 150 watts (W) in terms of power delivery. However, 2 of the 10R's 3 configurations come with its 80W counterpart instead, which have 5,000mAh batteries compared to 4,500mAh in the new, 150W 10R Endurance Edition.

Therefore, this smartphone will charge even faster than Xiaomi's freshly-launched 12 Pro flagship. The 10R's battery is touted to come safeguarded through baked-in regulations, and also features a Smart Charging Chip regardless of whether it is 150W or not.

This makes the 10R more of a Realme GT Neo3 re-brand in truth - which, as both devices will both sell in India soon, may seem a little confusing. However, the OnePlus version has new colorways to go with its new name: Forest Green or Sierra Black.

They are priced at INR 38,999 (~US$509) with 8GB RAM/128GB interal storage/80W configurations, or INR 42,999 (~$561) for 12GB/256GB/80W models.

The top-end Endurance Edition, which is also 12GB/256GB, costs INR 43,999 (~$574). OnePlus will release all 3 versions of the 10R for sale through its own website, as well as through Amazon, Reliance and some other channels from May 4, 2022.
