OPPO Pad Neo slated to launch soon as new 4G/LTE Android tablet
OPPO has been caught preparing a second tablet for sale in 2023. It is called the Pad Neo as opposed to a second-gen Air variant, which might suggest that it might aim to deliver something besides entertainment on a budget on its debut.
In fact, the OPPO Pad Neo (or OPD 2303) might challenge the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 or Motorola Moto Tab G84 on its launch. It has been registered as capable of using 4G/LTE when even the flagship Pad 2 does not, thereby hinting at possible mid-range status.
In that case, one might wonder if this new slate would have all that much to do with the rumored Pad Go from OPPO's other brand OnePlus, which seems geared at enduring screen-on time rather than fancy and versatile connectivity specs.
The rest of the OPPO Pad Neo's specs remain a mystery, leaving its status as another 144Hz display powerhouse in doubt. Then again, it might be assured of the OEM's new camera-heavy industrial design should it really be announced soon.
