Does Apple develop the MacBook Touch?

Some rumours appeared, that Apples develops a new notebook and it could be the MacBook Touch.

The internet news site MacDailyNews report, that Apple wants to bring the MacBook Touch. These rumours are based on information of a trustworthy source and supposedly the laptop will be available in October.

The notebook has the size of the MacBook’s display and is equipped with a display which offers a glass covered front. It is similar to the display of the iPhone and it gets handled like the iPod Touch. The idea of handling got improved and it works with the Multi-Touch concept.

The MacBook Touch does not offer a keyboard, but it comes with normal Mac OSX. Furthermore, it provides a SuperDrive, a GPS receiver and an acceleration sensor. Furthermore, Apple wants to sell the MacBook Touch as cheap as possible to increase its sales figures.
