The new USB 2.0 SlimBlade trackball has been introduced by Kensington and it will enable controlling the computer faster and easier. The device offers more than moving the mouse cursor around the screen.
It provides different modes, for example for using documents, pictures or music. The device will enable scrolling, controlling the speakers volume, zooming and much more. Those actions can be performed without moving the hand away from the trackball.
The bundled software shows the current mode on a head up display on the screen. The device works with Windows XP and Windows Vista and it also is compatible to Mac OS X.
The Kensington SlimBlade trackball will cost $ 129.99 (~€ 100) when it comes on the market.
