Targus introduces new netbook cases

Targus, a company headquartered in Anaheim (California), created the mobile accessory category with its invention of the laptop case, over 25 years ago. The company has recently launched 12-inch cases as well as environmentally-friendly netbook bags under the company's EcoSmart initiative. 

This new line-up of netbook cases has been developed especially to meet the growing demand of netbooks all around the world. Kevin Nicusanti, vice president of soft goods at Targus  Inc. said, " Given the enormous sales growth in the netbook category, Targus is seizing the opportunity to support this consumer trend by developing fashionable, well-crafted cases to fit the full range of netbook screen size options."

The new models include:

• A 12-inch Sport Netbook Slipcase with an adjustable shoulder strap which is made of lightweight, protective neoprene. It has a front pocket for accessory storage. The case measures 9.45 x 1.57 x 10.63-inches and weighs 7.04 oz. It is available in black with gray accents for $24.99.
• A 12-inch Netbook Slipskin Peel case which is made of soft and durable neoprene. It measures 9.65 x 0.79 x 12.4-inches and weighs 9.12 oz. It is available for $19.99.
• A 12-inch Netbook Slipcase with Mini Pocket is a lightweight, form-fitting neoprene skin that shields the netbook from scratches and dust. The pockets allow users to carry additional accessories. The slipcase can be used alone or inside another case for added protection. The case is available in black with blue or burgundy accents. This case measures 9.57 x 0.79 x 12.01-inches and weighs 10.56 oz. It's price is $24.99.
• A 12-inch Netbook Slipcase with Accessory Pocket that features a durable, water-resistant neoprene exterior designed to protect the netbook from scratches or dust. It has a front zippered compartment that provides a large space for storage of a power adapter or additional accessories. It measures just 8.46 x 0.79 x 11.22-inches and weighs 8.8 oz. It is available in blue, red, black, and yellow at a price of $24.99.
• A 10.2-inch Spruce Netbook Case which is constructed of recycled polyester material and features a large zippered accessory compartment. It has heavily padded handles that provide convenience and comfort during travel. The Spruce Netbook case is PVC-free, nickel-free, and includes recyclable plastic components. This eco-friendly slipcase measures 8.25 x 1.75 x 11.25-inches and weighs 8.8 oz. It is available in black with green accents for $24.99.
