Dell Inspiron Mini 10 gets more RAM

Now available with 2GB RAM and Windows Vista
The Dell Inspiron Mini 10 netbook was launched way back in February. At that time Dell launched this model with 1GB of RAM and Windows XP operating system. Users did not have the choice to increase the RAM, so they had to make do with only 1GB of RAM. Many users were not content with this and wanted that their Mini 10 should have at least 2GB of RAM. It seems as if Dell just went out of the way to please such users by introducing a new model (promotional offer) of the Dell Inspiron Mini 10 which has 2GB of RAM and Windows Vista operating system with Service Pack 1. Dell can not use Windows XP with this model as it would violate Microsoft’s norms.
Users can still choose to put on a 1,366x768 resolution display panel on this new model but, won’t be able to opt for features like GPS and TV tuner. The 2GB/Vista model is currently available for the United States only and can be ordered online through Dell’s official site at a price of $429.
