USI MIS-160
World’s thinnest Atom MID
USI presented the world’s thinnest Mobile Internet Device (MID). It is called USI MID-160 and it is based on the Intel Atom processor. The MID-160 has a 5 inch touch screen with 800×480 pixel and 167,000 colors, an 8GB SSD (expandable via microSD), and 512MB of RAM. The device supports WiFi 802.11b/g, HSDPA, Bluetooth, GPS and even WiMax. It comes with a SIM card slot, and a microSD card slot. The MIS-160 weighs in at 250 grams and is just 1.5cm thick. It comes with Ubuntu Linux as the default OS.
The availability and the price are unconfirmed at the moment but it is expected that the device will show up before Christmas.
