It is the successor to the popular HP Mini 5101
The HP Mini 5102, much awaited successor to the famous HP Mini 5101, is now available for ordering the official site. It is a 10.1-inch Pineview powered netbook with up to 2GB of RAM and 160GB Hard disk. The 5102 comes in four variant. The base variant (FN101UA) is not priced yet and sports the 1.6GHz N450 processor, 4-cell (28 WHr) Li-Ion battery, 10.1-inch diagonal LED-backlit WSVGA display panel with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, 1 GB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, 160 GB 7200 rpm SATA drive, a 2MP webcam, and Broadcom 4322G 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 for connectivity.
The second model (FN103UA) has the same processor and display panel, but comes with 2 GB RAM and XP Professional (available through downgrade rights from Genuine Windows 7 Professional). Rests of the specs are pretty much similar. This one comes for $749.00.
The third and fourth upgrades (FN104UA and WH236UA) are, again, not much different than the immediate younger brother in the sense that they have the same processor, display panel, 2 GB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, and connectivity options. The FN104UA has 320GB of hard disk space. Both of these models are equipped with the 6-cell battery instead of the 4-cell one found on the first two models, thus should provide considerably more battery life. Rests of the specs are pretty much same with each other and with the second variant.
