This is for the netbooks specifically

 First thing first – this is not only a cooling device. It gives you a whole lot more like convenience in adding extra storage, additional USB ports etc. Although it is compatible with up to 15” Notebook Computers (but more likely will be great for netbooks), and comes with integrated 2.5" HDD & SSD Dock. There are three additional USB ports in case. Compatible with up to 500G 2.5" SATA II HDD & SATA II SSD. And it is also a cooling pad – with the silent 8cm DC fan at the center.

The good thing is that you only need it to connect to your laptop, ‘cos it gets powered directly from notebook USB port. This 590g accessory has a dimension of 230 x 320 x 50mm, so you shouldnot have problem placing it on your lap. But all in all, it is expected to make the netbooks a bit more desk-friendly. Hell, it even has that tilt that gives you a better access to typing, especially for those who look at the keyboard and type.
