'The fastest browser on Earth' has just been updated

Opera 10.50 for Windows has just been launched, and the Mac and UNIX versions are coming soon

Opera 10.50 for Windows has just been launched. Opera Software has been working on the latest version for several months, during which several release candidates have been launched and the pre-Alpha to final stage has been completed in record time. Heralded as the 'fastest browser on Earth', by the developers and its significant following, Opera 10.50 has been updated with a new JavaScript engine, called Carakan, and a new graphics library, 'Vega'.

Internet browsers concerned about privacy and security, can make use of Opera 10.50's private browsing feature. Whilst popular browsers such as Firefox and Internet Explorer offer this feature, they require the browser to be relaunched. However, Opera 10.50 allows users to browse privately in a tab or separate window. The new version has also been updated to support Aero Glass, Aero peek and Jump Lists in Windows 7 and Vista.

Opera 10.50 is now available to download for free, directly from Opera.com.
