Sony's first Netbook?

The rumor of Sony rolling out its first mini-notebook (or first Netbook) is doing rounds - quite a lot now.

There is a steady leaking of Sony planning to roll out its first netbook with a twist. This one will supposedly sport an 8-inch display with a resolution of 1600 by 768 pixels, lit by a small LED backlit. The chip might be adorned with an Intel Atom Z520 or the ultra low-voltage Core 2 Duo U7700, which would be very powerful in its class. The picture of the backside posted on Engadget would place this baby somewhere between a netbook and what Intel refers to as MID - Mobile internet device. But then most high-resolution netbooks use Windows XP which might again give rise the speculation that it maynot be a netbook at all, but rather a traditional high-end subnotebook with crisp resolution.
FCC described this as a Notebook PC under the model numbers PCG-1P1L(PCG is synonymous with VAIO laptop brand). There is Bluetooth, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, with a dimension of just over 9.5 x 4.5-inches making it even smaller than the 10.3 x 6.56-inch HP mini 1000.

Other specs. Include –
1)    A 1.33 GHz Intel processor
2)    60GB hard disk or 128GB SSD
3)    Vista
