Does Apple develop a tablet netbook?
There are rumours which say, that Apple will bring a tablet netbook on the market.
There is an article at the Computerworld blog, which says that Apple supposedly will develop a tablet PC netbook. This device could be equipped with an ARM processor, as Apple bought the manufacturer PA Semiconductor which produces those CPUs.
The iPhone and the iPod touch are already equipped with such processors and a special version of the operating system Mac OS X runs on them. The newest Core A8 ARM CPU from PA Semiconductor does not need much energy as well. It needs 18-times less power than the Intel Atom processor with the same performance does.
Those are still rumours and only future will show if they come true or not.
