iDot showcases a new MID at Computex

iDot CCI MID will be powered by VIA/Freescale processor
iDot has recently showcased a new MID (mobile internet device) at the Computex trade fair being held in Taipei. The iDot CCI has a 3.8-inch 800 x 480 resistive touchscreen display and is powered by either the VIA’s 500MHz fanless Eden ULV CPU or an 800MHz Freescale MX51 CPU. The chipset and graphics are provided by VIA’s VX875 Media System Processor and UniChrome Pro II IGP. Other features include:
· 1GB of RAM
· Bluetooth 2.1
· Transflash card reader
· SIM card slot
· 5MP webcam
· Audio in/out jack
· GPS
The CCI MID would be available with both Windows XP and Android operating system. There is no word yet on the pricing and availability of this device.
