New Asus notebooks at CeBit 08

Asus will introduce some new laptops at the CeBit 2008.

Asus will present three new notebooks at the CeBit 2008. Thats the sub-notebook U2, the design-notebook Lamborghini VX3 and the gaming-laptop G70.

Asus U2 - sub-notebook:

The Asus U2 is a sub-notebook which will have a black case. Its 11" display has a WXGA resolution and a LED backlight too. The used hard disk is a 32 GB solid state drive and the installed CPU is an ULV Intel Core Duo. The optical drive is an ultra-slim super-multi drive. Furthermore a finger print reader and a TMP-chip are installed to provide security. The overall weight of the U2 is only 1300 grams.

Asus Lamborghini VX3:

The Lamborghini VX3 is available for the first time with a 12" display. The case of this design notebook is made of an aluminium-magnesium alloy with some leather applications, like the cases of its bigger brothers. The used material of the lid looks like carbon and has a typical Lamborghini painting.

Asus G70:

The Asus G70 is a notebook made for gamers. It provides two Nvidia GeForce 8700M GT graphic cards in SLI-mode with 1 GB video memory. The resolution of the display can be up to 1900 x 1200 pixels. Furthermore two hard disks can be installed, a TV-tuner and a HDMI-port is built in as well.
