Asus won’t bring Eee PCs with bigger display
Category: other notebook newsBy: Matthias Bauer
The Asus CEO says that Asus does not intend to equip its Eee PC series with bigger screens.
Jerry Shen (Asus CEO) says that Asus won’t bring Eee PCs with screens which are bigger than 10-inch. Therefore, there won’t be Asus netbooks with 11- or 12-inch LCD on the market.
The devices with 11-inch screens are already notebooks and the manufacturer won’t endanger its own notebook sales figures. Furthermore, Chen says that there won’t be Eee PCs with Windows Vista as well. Probably they will bring netbooks with Windows 7, as soon as the new operation system hits the market.
