DigiCube MIDPhone-50 runs on Windows and supports 3.5G
DigiCube was established in 2000 and it deals in storage & flash applications, embedded module/subsystem solutions, and system integration. DigiCube has come out with the MIDPhone-50 which, as the name suggests, is a MID (mobile internet device) that doubles as a phone. It is powered by an Intel Atom Z series processor and runs Windows XP operating system. The display is a 4.8-inch 800x480 resolution touchscreen. The screen can be pushed back and tilted underneath which is a full QWERTY keyboard. It includes a built-in front-mounted webcam and a capacitive touchpad to the right of the display with two buttons on the left side. Ports include mini-USB, standard USB, a headset socket, and a microSD card slot. The device also comes with a docking station which has a VGA output, more USB ports, and a battery charger.
For connectivity the device uses Bluetooth, WiFi, and 3.5G (cellular operation). It has 512MB/1GB of RAM. The only drawback is that it has a battery backup of 2 hours.
