Coby netbooks available for pre-order
Coby Electronics Corporation is a privately held corporation incorporated in the state of New York which is known for its low priced electronic goods. Coby showed off a few of its netbooks at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January 2009 but, none of the models made it to the streets. The models which were showcased had 7-inch to 9-inch screen sizes and were powered by the Intel Atom N270 processor.
Now, Coby has launched two new models which are available for pre-order from Amazon (source - Lilliputing). One has a 12.1 inch display, while the other comes with a 10.1 inch screen. The specifications of the two models are given below:

· 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor

· 1GB RAM
· 160GB hard drive
· 2.3 hours battery life (as per company claims)

· 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display
· 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor

· Dimensions: 13.1 x 9.8 x 3.2 -inches
· Weight: 3 pounds
· Price: $318.99
For connectivity these laptops will most probably have Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth, and an Ethernet port.
