Asus shows their new Eee PC 900 at the CeBit 2008, which is the successor of the Eee PC 4G. There will be some improvements and it is officially Windows compatible.

Asus

Asus already told that they want to present the successor of the Eee PC at the CeBit 08. Now they show it from March 4th to 9th at the Asus stall. The Eee PC 900 will be equipped with an 8.9” display, and probably the notebook won’t have any cooling fans and a silent mode will be possible. Furthermore, the hard disk gets enlarged. There will be installed a 12 GB SSD, instead of the 4 GB solid state drive. The working memory will be 1024 MB instead of 512 MB, and this hardware configuration makes the Eee PC 900 officially “Windows ready”. The new Eee PC costs € 399,- and will be available in summer of 2008.
