HP released ProBook 5310m/CT business notebook

This new device is supposedly the world’s thinnest business laptop


HP (Hewlett-Packard) has reportedly announced its latest business ultra-portable product. The ProBook 5310m/CT is just 23.5mm (≈0.93 inches) thick and is allegedly the world’s thinnest business notebook.

Configuration

This device is powered by either Intel’s Celeron SU2300 CPU with a clock speed of 1.2GHz or an Intel Core 2 Duo SP9300 processor clocked at 2.26GHz. It is equipped with a 13.3-inch LCD display with a maximum resolution of 1366-by-768 pixels.

The ProBook 5310m/CT houses up to 4GB of memory, a 160GB rotating hard drive (7200RPM) or a 128GB solid-state drive (SSD) and Intel’s GS45 Express chipset with integrated video.

Connectivity

HP’s ultra-thin notebook sports up to Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n adaptor and a Bluetooth 2.1 (optional) connectivity. In addition, it features three USB 2.0 ports, an SD card reader slot and a web camera for video calls over the Internet.

Other specs/Pricing

The HP ProBook 5310m/CT comes with a pre-installed Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit operating system and a 4-cell battery (up to 7 hours).   Weighing 1.72kg (≈3.78 lbs), this device is reportedly priced at US $1,087.
