Dell equips Latitude D830 and D630 with Penryn CPU
After Dell equipped some of its Precision notebooks with Intels new "Penryn" Core 2 Duo CPUs, now they are offering their Latitude D830 and D630 with this processor too.

Dell told that they will offer their Precision notebooks M2300, M4300 and M6300 with Penryn CPU a few days ago. Only little time later they provide their Latitude D830 and D630 with those new CPUs as well. This laptops will be available with either an Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 CPU with 2.5 GHz, or an Intel Core 2 Duo T9500 CPU with 2.6 GHz. Both CPUs provide 6 MB L2 cache. Otherwise, there are no other changes relating to the hardware configuration. The Dell Latitude D630 starts at € 739,- and the Latitude D830 starts at € 769,-.
