Super Talent brings new solid state drives on the market and they will reach higher data transfer rates.

Super Talent’s new SSD drives are equipped with a multi-channel-controller. This device enables higher data transfer rates.

The new solid state drives are part of the series MasterDrive OX and MasterDrive PX. The OX series offers a MLC memory chip and the PX SSDs provides SLC memory. Therefore, theoretically the MasterDrive OX reaches a reading speed of 150 MB/s and a writing speed of 100 MB/s.

The manufacturer says that the PX models reach a reading speed of 170 MB/s and a writing speed of 130 MB/s. Both series are offered with different disk sizes.

The MasterDrive OX will be available with 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB and it will cost $ 149 (approx € 104), $ 259 (approx € 180) or $ 419 (approx € 292). The MasterDrive PX will be offered with 32 GB and 64 GB and it will cost $ 499 (approx € 347) or $ 849 (approx € 590).
