Third party 8-cell battery for Inspiron 9

This extended battery should give up to 19 hours of juice

 The Dell Inspiron Mini 9 has been on and off from Dell’s portfolio of late. Although Dell recently announced the discontinuation of the Mini 9, there is still a fair number of Dell Inspiron Mini 9 available in the market.

The Mini 9 by default ships with a 4-cell battery that is good for not more than 4.5 - 6 hrs of life. MyDigital comes up with this 8 cell, 5200mAh; 14.8V battery that they claim will last for up to 10 hours. The company warns that the battery works best with netbooks using the A04 or earlier BIOS versions. So anything later and you might face an incompatibility issue – as Liliputing points out.
