Lenovo has detailed a new performance-focused gaming laptop at IFA 2025, the Legion Pro 7 16AFR10H. It comes with the AMD Ryzen 9000 HX series processors and Nvidia RTX 50 series GPUs. The top-end model pairs the AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D with the RTX 5080 Laptop GPU.
Among the two, AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D stood out as the best gaming CPU in our analysis, beating the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX by an average of 5% in our tests. As for the Nvidia RTX 5080 Laptop GPU, in our first benchmarks, it performed very close to the laptop version of the RTX 5090, making it a solid choice when it comes to value.
The company notes that the GPU inside the new gaming laptop can offer up to 175 W of performance. Lenovo further highlights that the Legion Pro 7 16AFR10H has support for up to 32 GB of DDR5 RAM running at 5600 MT/s and 2 TB of PCIe Gen 5 SSD (2 TB Samsung 990 Pro curr. $159.99 on Amazon).
On the front, the gaming laptop comes with a 16-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a 240 Hz refresh rate. Lenovo says that this panel has 100% DCI-P3 color coverage and supports Dolby Vision, Nvidia G-Sync, and VESA TrueBlack 1000.
As a performance-focused gaming laptop, the Lenovo Legion Pro 7 16AFR10H has a rich selection of ports. More specifically, the port configuration of the system is as follows:

- 1x 10 Gbps USB 3.2 Type-A
- 2x 5 Gbps USB 3.2 Type-A
- 1x 3.5 mm audio
- 1x RJ45 Ethernet
It's worth noting that one of the two USB Type-C ports supports PD 3.0, while both support DisplayPort 2.1. Among the other highlights of the gaming laptop are a 4-speaker setup, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and an E-Shutter button. The Lenovo Legion Pro 7 16AFR10H is set to be available from November 2025 with a starting price of $2,399.
