The Epic Games Store has updated its mobile storefront with a new free game after giving away Machinarium last week. This time, Epic Games has switched to Monument Valley, which it has also discounted for PC gamers this week. Incidentally, the company had previously promised to offer a second free game this week on PC and Mac this week too.
Setting that last-minute change aside, Monument Valley typically retails for $3.99 across Amazon, Google Play and the Apple App Store. The same is the case on Epic Games, albeit only in the EU for iOS and iPadOS users. Thus, this week's mobile deal is worth $7.98 when redeemed on Android and iOS simultaneously. Please see Epic Games' advice for installing the Epic Games Store on Android.
Another puzzle game, Monument Valley retains a 4.9/5 average on the Google Play Store after over 5 million downloads. Meanwhile, the game achieves 4.4/5 on Amazon and 4.7/5 on the Apple App Store. On top of that, Monument Valley currently sits at number 6 in Apple's paid Adventure game category. This week's mobile free game will be available to add to your Epic Games library until September 11 at around 15:00 UTC. As always, one can grab the new giveaway either via instant checkout link or on the Epic Games mobile store directly.
