New Decathlon Stilus E-Touring electric mountain bike with suspension arrives
Decathlon has launched a new version of the Stilus E-Touring electric mountain bike with a high frame in the EU. The original low-framed model launched in the same region last July as an eMTB developed for riding on various terrains and longer journeys.
Aside from the frame design, another significant difference between the older and newer versions of the E-Touring is the addition of an SR Suntour XCM32 ATB suspension fork with 100 mm travel. Otherwise, the two e-bikes are identical, powered by a mid-mounted Bosch Performance Line CX Gen4 motor with 85Nm torque and up to 340% assistance limited to a top speed of 25 kph (~16 mph). A torque sensor adjusts the power to match your pace, and the Bosch PowerTube 750Wh battery allows you to ride with assistance for up to 130 km (~81 miles). The e-bike has a Bosch Kiox display for navigation, statistics like your current speed and control of the eBike Lock tool. Other features include Schwalbe 29x2.35-in tires, a Microshift Advent X 10-speed rear derailleur, Clarks M2 hydraulic disc brakes and lights at the front and rear.
With various luggage-carrying options, including a rear rack, the e-MTB can support total loads of up to 145 kg (~320 lbs). The e-bike’s 6061 aluminum frame comes in three sizes, with the size M weighing 26.2 kg (~57.8 lbs). You can now buy the Decathlon Stilus E-Touring electric mountain bike with high frame in EU countries like France, Spain, and Italy for €3,499.99 or €3,519.99 in the Netherlands.
