Casio’s G-Shock collaborations have built a reputation for being some of the most collectible timepieces in the watch industry, since they often sell out within minutes. Among these, its partnership with luxury brand Bamford London has been particularly successful in the past. Now, a new post from a reputed leaker on Instagram (@morgan_gshock) suggests that the two brands are preparing to release their third collaboration, though details are still very scarce - to say the least.
Bamford’s first Casio partnership in 2020 brought forth the Casio GW-M5610BWD20-1ER with Bamford’s signature aqua blue highlights. It had a distinct design language that made it a collector’s item, and it sold out in merely three minutes. The second collaboration, the DW-6900BWD-1ER (2022), continued this success with Bamford’s triple blue concept, which featured three shades of blue, a negative LCD screen, and a custom blue EL backlight.
With a third watch now rumored, the biggest question is which G-Shock model will serve as the base. Casio has often returned to the DW-5600 and DW-6900 for collabs, but a shift to a different platform—such as the GA-2100 ("CasiOak")—wouldn’t be surprising given its recent popularity.
The lack of official details means it’s unclear whether Bamford will continue to build on previous designs or introduce an entirely new aesthetic. What is certain is that if this release follows the same formula as its predecessors, it will likely be in high demand and available in limited quantities. We can expect an official announcement to be on the way soon.
