New Casio G-Shock DW-6900-ASRV24A-1CR watch with interchangeable straps coming soon

A new Casio G-Shock DW-6900 series watch is about to launch: the DW-6900-ASRV24A-1CR. This model was designed in collaboration with the premium sportswear brand ASRV. As part of the build-up for the upcoming launch, the company has released two teaser videos on social media.

The DW-6900-ASRV24A-1CR appears to have a matte black case and comes with three interchangeable bands. There are two black straps, one featuring the company name and another with the slogan “only those who risk are free”, and a third plain band, which is said to have a reflective coating. Another notable element of the design is the prominent red button, which is used to trigger the backlight. On this occasion, the backlight is red across the display, and three circular graphs and the words Relentless Pursuit are also shown across the larger screen when lit. 

Features of the watch are expected to include a 1/100-second stopwatch, a countdown timer, an alarm and hourly time signals. A standard battery life estimate for this model is five years on a single CR2016 battery. The Casio G-Shock DW-6900-ASRV24A-1CR will launch exclusively at asrv.com on January 30th, though its price has yet to be announced. As an indication, older versions like the DW6900-1V typically retail for $99.95 (curr. $54.50 at Amazon).
