Moza has been in the racing and flight simulation space for a while now. The company recently launched new racing gear with two wheelbases as part of its high-end segment. The flight sim portfolio, on the other hand, is getting a more budget-friendly expansion with a force feedback flight base, a flightstick, and a throttle quadrant.
AB6 Flight Simulator and MTQ Throttle Quadrant
Joining the more premium AB9 FFB base and MH16 Flightstick are the mid-tier AB6 base and MHB Flightstick. The base is capable of 6 Nm direct-drive torque, compared to 12 Nm offered by the AB9 base. It is responsible for sending accurate vibrations and feedback to the stick. There are eight customizable buttons and two throttle sliders. The MHG Flightstick has a Hall-effect Z-axis rudder and more than 25 mappable inputs. There is also a two-stage trigger for more dynamic control.
Coming to the MTQ Throttle Quadrant, it has 10 programmable buttons, three rotary knobs, three toggle switches, and a dedicated landing gear lever. It has a modular system that allows changing the throttle according to the different aircraft styles, but the modules need to be purchased separately. By default, it comes with the TQF Fighter lever configuration.
Price and availability
The Moza AB6 Flight Simulator which includes the base and the flight stick is priced at $399. The MHG Flightstick alone is priced at $99 and the MTQ Throttle Quadrant costs $199. The modules for the MTQ are priced at $39 each. All the new hardware is available for purchase today, October 30, via the official website and will be available via select retailers later.
