Wanbo has unveiled the 2025 Mozart 1 Pro New projector. This new model builds on the original Mozart 1 Pro, which was released in 2023. The company claims that the latest version is the industry’s first LCD projector to offer Google TV and MEMC motion smoothing.
Like the original, the 2025 Mozart 1 Pro delivers video with a 1080p resolution, though it supports 4K content. It offers a 1.2:1 throw ratio, casting images up to 120 inches (~305 cm) wide, and is said to deliver up to 1,200 ANSI lumens brightness, a 33% increase over its predecessor. Thanks to tools like automatic keystone correction, focus, obstacle avoidance and screen alignment, you can quickly perfect the image. As well as MEMC, there are features like variable refresh rate (VRR) and support for HDR10.
For the 2025 edition, Android has been swapped for the Google TV interface. This brings support for Google Assistant voice commands and provides access to various streaming services. Ports include HDMI 2.0, USB and 3.5mm audio, and there is Bluetooth 5.0 and dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity. On top of this, there are two integrated 10W speakers and an optional 150° gimbal stand (RRP $99) for an adjustable projection angle. The projector has a dark blue exterior and measures 176 x 209 x 223 mm (~6.9 x 8.2 x 8.8 inches).
The Wanbo 2025 Mozart 1 Pro New projector will be available through an early access sale starting on July 15th. It appears that the device will be priced at $399 for initial customers, meaning they save $100 compared to the $499 RRP. As a reminder, the original Wanbo Mozart 1 Pro is currently priced at $399.99 (Amazon). Three versions will be available with US, EU and UK plug types.
